About Me

Justin Forst has been working with wood for a decade making cabinets, built-ins and furniture in the beautiful California Central Coast and Santa Cruz. He came into woodworking from Restaurant and Design projects in several locations in U.S and Europe, mostly Scandinavia. 
Forst Custom Wood works with big projects; astonishing kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms as well as the smaller size projects with great attention to fine detail. Materials used are often the innovative, creative wood materials such as Bamboo, Plyboo, Lyptus, Brazilian IPE and other exotic but sustainable lumber.
Forst Custom Wood furniture pieces are designed and hand made in West Side Santa Cruz with the environment and proportions in mind.
